Leah Beekman PhD, CCC-SLP
Leah is the founder and owner of Unless. Therapy. Leah received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from William Paterson University in New Jersey, and she received her doctorate at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. Leah is nationally certified and holds state certification in both California and Ohio.
Leah has a wide variety of therapy experience ranging from early childhood into later adulthood. She also has experience with specialized population such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and AAC users.
Her area of expertise is in the domain of ambiguous language learning and its impact on both academic and social communication. Specifically, she has in depth knowledge regarding social communication and the impact of sarcasm on language learning and use in the middle school years.
Leah has a deep passion for advocating for clients and for teaching them to become advocates for themselves. She also thoroughly enjoys the use of sidewalk chalk, is decent at double-dutch and loves the most ridiculous jokes.

Jessica
Salley, MS, CCC-SLP
Jess received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire and her masters degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is currently a doctoral student at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. Jess is nationally certified and holds state certification in Ohio.
Jess has therapy experiences across the age span and particularly enjoys working with individuals with brain injury, aphasia, and complex communication needs. She has experience in evaluation and treatment for individuals who use AAC, including securing funding for personal devices. Jess serves both children and adults with varying diagnoses.
Jess enjoys working with clients and caregivers to support their communication goals. She looks forward to working with you and your family.
